Guides
Web | UX, UI, BrandingGuides is an open source library of practical publications that continually evolve. Their vision is to create a community where people can gather, reflect, and share.
Scope
My role was to bring the community to life through wireframing, prototyping, testing, and interface design. The work also included branding to give the evolving platform an accompanying visual direction.
I first led a design sprint to define a brand strategy. I used the findings as a springboard for the creation of a visual styleguide and tone of voice, from which an entire library of interface components and new landing page grew.

Process
To transform the platform into a community, a complete redesign of the existing page structure was needed, as well as the introduction of new features to foster the right spirit.
The concept of an online Campfire where like-minded can gather to reflect, and Gratitude as a form of currency, were developed.
Sometimes low-fidelity prototypes would be enough, but because of the product's complexity, I also built a fully interactive prototype to be tested.

Result
The new brand direction, with a focus on reflection and sharing, lead the team behind guides to explore new paths forward. To be able to fully focus on the new insights they decided to create a separate company, Soulbound, to help teams open up and spark meaningful conversations.
